Bethany does have an amazing eye for “little fun things” to put in a care package. My favorite was the box of 44 crayons in James’ birthday box. I don’t even remember where we were living at the time (I suppose I could figure it out) but I remember those crayons. I’m sure I have them somewhere…

Wow, 2 shout-outs in just as many posts. What a treat! It’s true, it took living together for Steph and I to be friends. It’s a funny story, but I’m SO thankful it happened. I’m extremely thankful for our friendship Steph and am deeply touched by your comments. Any plans on coming to/through/near MN any time soon? I’d love to come visit your new home…maybe sometime this summer?

Yay! I was laughing out loud as I read your post! I’m so tickled that we will be teaching VBS together this summer – it will make the week more fun for me/ us for sure! I know we will make a great team!
It was nice to hear about the people on your post – to understand a bit how you are connected.

Don’t worry Jim! I never have to worry about that I am blessed with the most loyal wife ever. She is awesome. If you read today’s blog, the only thing I ever worry about is the fact that sometimes I cannot get her away from a good book Ha ha!

I wish I was young enough to worry Travis. Not that I would worry him, because you have too strong a relationship to barge into – just that most of the time I feel like it would be nice to be younger.

Let’s see, since we got married, Troy and I have lived in six different houses, two hotels for a month or more, and I lived with my parents for eight months once between moves when he was deployed. So…I win?

I had forgotten those care-package days! I used to love sending those so much. I am so glad you enjoyed them.

I can hardly believe we’ve only seen each other ONCE in 15 years. I hope you do make it out to San Diego one day soon!

Hey Steph, I am here, too (thanks to your FB announcement)!
I am Jessica -I too lived with Stephanie in college – one year as roommates, 4 years as friends there : ) I am a pastor’s wife in the Bronx and a stay at home mom to 2 with a 3rd on the way through adoption. I have found that stay at home mom doesn’t mean inactive becuase everyone thinks I have more time to do things around church since I don’t work outside the home. Most of my time is spent volunteering with the LWML and our teen girl’s group.

I LOVE YOU! Thanks… you make me cry (tears of joy) almost every time I read this blog. Same to you… I would never trade what the Lord has blessed us with, our marriage, for anything!
